Is one videographer enough for a wedding?

We have been filming weddings with one videographer for the last 20 years, the difference nowadays is the one operator can use several static discreet cameras to cover more angles. One videographer can certainly cover a wedding, but the number of videographers you need ultimately depends on your budget, wedding size, and personal preference. Having a second videographer can provide additional coverage and angles, capturing more of your special day and can capture multiple things happening at the same time. Often the main difference in having two or more operators is that the feature and highlights films will look unique.

Do I need two videographers at my wedding?

We do recommend two operators for weddings larger than 75 guests or/and for weddings where you require multiple things recorded that may be happening at the same time. If you want a more styled wedding film a second videographer also has the license to be more creative, whilst the main videographer captures the important moments professionally.

What does a videographer do exactly?

A videographer is responsible for capturing and recording the key moments of your wedding day, such as the ceremony, reception, speeches, and other important events. They are also responsible for professional sound capture when possible. They may also provide additional services such as editing, colour correction, and audio enhancement. Our videographers are trained with certain rules to follow.

What is included in wedding videography?

When you booking wedding videography you are paying fro someone to create a film of your special day. You may decide to only have a short highlights film picking out all the best moments of your day and combining these into a short film with original emotive audio from your vows, readings and speeches. You may decide you also want a full feature film of your day, showing the day as it happened in a chronological order, with the ceremony and speeches in full.

So What is Included in Our Full Package?

Pre-meetings via phone or in person to discuss your wedding day and requirements
We then put together a plan on how we will capture your day and what equipment we will bring
We test, prepare, charge all the equipment ready for a full days shooting
We arrive when discussed and film your wedding day in a professional, friendly and unobtrusive fashion
We then run all this footage into a dedicated hard drive and then backup this footage on an additional drive
We collate all your music that you have requested for your film and begin the editing process
We spend up-to 2 weeks editing your final films, levelling audio and grading your footage
We provide the final film online and on a custom USB
We ask nicely for a review! And post the best clips to our social channels
